I was referred to AAMCO in Lake Park, FL by a mechanic who was not able to address a check engine code that my 2007 Honda Odyssey was generating. Roger Gillespie, the owner, took time during his lunch hour to pick up the car from the other mechanic, bring it to his shop, and look everything over. He quickly diagnosed our immediate issue along with a couple of other items that would likely need be addressed in the future. After talking through everything with Roger, he fixed the immediate issue (we deferred on the other items) and had us out the door the same day. Roger was helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process and he totally went the extra mile for us even though we had never worked with him before. I thought AAMCO only did transmission work but was happy to learn they do just about everything. I will certainly call Roger directly the next time I need any automotive work done and I highly recommend him. John
Highly recommended! My hubby made a mistake & I was afraid we might have a big problem, so I called to see if it was safe to drive. Roger was very knowledgeable on the phone and gave me great advice, so I felt comfortable taking the car in. And he was right! It was no big deal and I was in and out in no time. Roger is louder than loud (LOL!), but he is very knowledgeable, fair and honest! That is no surprise, cuz it turns out I've known him for 27+ years. I just didn't know he owned this shop till now. Ha ha!
